Nominate in the bCreator Awards 2024

bCreator Health & Wellbeing Show Highlights

“Smashing water balloons over my head, and hey it’s bCreator – I was being creative!” said Alix Fox after delivering an energetic presentation in a paddling pool on stage at the bCreator Health & Wellbeing Show.

This special event hosted an exclusive small number of brands and platforms for a day of panel talks, presentations, Q&A’s and networking with a top list of invited creators and talent managers.

Taking place on Friday 30th June, the day unfolded in a similar fashion to our bCreator Travel Show in March 2023 and Beauty Creator Show in July 2022.

Jess form Antler Social sharing TikTok tips at the bCreator Health & Wellbeing Show

I love that bCreator and events like this exist, I think that they are so needed in our industry

– Hannah Witton, Creator / Event Host

From the get-go there was a buzz in the air as creators came together to catch up, take photos on the purple carpet and explore the showcase space with a coffee and doughnut in hand.

THE SHOWCASING BRANDS AND PLATFORMS

The showcasing brands were able to meet face to face with creators, answer any of their questions, strengthen relationships and find ways of working together.

We were pleased to be joined by Instagram and Meta who treated guests to doughnuts, and Lovehoney who had a luxurious bathroom setup with a bath tub to demonstrate the new Womanizer Wave product.

The LTK team were also present with a beautiful flower filled space, as well as CoppaFeel!, a breast cancer charity who encouraged creators to attach their own instant print photos and sticky notes of support to their stand.

AntlerASA and Celutions also showcased at the event which worked well for answering creators’ questions before and after their presentations on stage.

The Event Host: Hannah Witton

The event was hosted by YouTuber and sex educator Hannah Witton who has been producing content online for over 10 years.

The Panel Talks

There were two panels on stage during the event, one in the morning session and one in the afternoon session.

The morning panel was hosted by Chloë Downes from SHFT and was all about monetising your health and wellbeing content. Chloë was joined by creators David Larbi and Milly Pickles, Sarah Hildyard Graham from LTK and Esme Rice from Mindshare.

This panel has been the single most useful discussion I’ve had the pleasure of listening to since becoming a content creator!

– halfofcarla, creator

The afternoon panel was hosted by Bel Merid from Instagram who discussed social media and mental health with creators; Gemma Styles, Tasha Bailey (Real Talk Therapist), Self Love Liv and Max Selwood. Creators in the audience were also given the opportunity to ask their questions to the panels.

The sit down conversations

Alice Audley, our CEO and Founder also had some stage time interviewing Sex educator and presenter Reed Amber, the co-founder of ComeCurious, and once more to record a live episode of our podcast Serious Influence with comedy actor and writer Hayley Morris.

In between the panel talks and presentations, creators had time to network in the showcase area. One thing we hear at these events from creators is how nice it is to see people in-person as so much of their work is done alone;

I just love being around other creators, being self employed it really just helps you feel like you’re not alone

– Milly Pickles, Creator / Panellist

The Presentations

The insightful presentations at the Health & Wellbeing Show covered a broad range of topics – Jess of Antler Social shared tips on creating content for TikTok, and Celine from Celutions offered advice on how to avoid burnout.

Creator Alix Fox delivered an engaging presentation for Lovehoney, bringing a paddling pool on stage, zipping up a yellow rain mac and popping water balloons that contained quotes to drive home key messages.

From our initial confirmation of attendance, through to the execution of our booth, bCreator were hands-on with ensuring our goals were realised.
The organisers’ attention to detail and commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment was truly commendable.

– Lovehoney

A big thanks to everyone who made this day possible and to all the creators who attended and shared their experiences online tagging @bcreatoruk and #BCHWS.
